Most of the old brick building along Sixth Avenue lay in rubble Thursday, including a portion of the exterior wall where traces of paint bearing the brewery’s logo could be seen against the faded red brick. It’s a shame, said Jim Desmone, the borough building inspector who condemned the property last year. (more…)
