NFTA Metro Rail Expansion | A vacant train terminal on Buffalo’s New York waterfront will officially be brought back to life in the form of an NFTA Metro Rail stop. Officials at the NFTA officially approved one of a few submitted plans to extend Buffalo’s only subway system that travels in two directions across the Queen City on Friday. With the approval, the NFTA will earmark just over $42.3 million to accomplish the task of building, planning and executing the build.
