E-Sorting electrostatic separators represent the last technological frontier in the separation of undifferentiated materials. By exploiting the created electric fields, they can separate – with a high degree of efficiency –fine conducting fraction (metallic) from insulating fraction (paper, plastic, rubber), paper from plastic, organic fraction from inert fraction.
